This is just a simple and casual look that I was inspired by my new dress I bought for Christmas :]

Fortunately, with a little help of a flash, you can see the colors more. I had so much trouble trying to get the best lighting to take this picture since most of them, I could not see the green color, especially.

Step by Step:

  • After applying a primer (if you do), apply a green color all over the lid. I mixed a green and turquoise eyeshadows :] ( Urban Decay: Flipside -turquoise- & Homegrown -green-)
  • Apply your eyeliner first
  • Then apply goldish eyeshadow between your green eyeshadow and eyeliner (Urban Decay: Sellout)
  • Curl your lashes then apply mascara top and bottom
  • For the bottom, apply a thin line of white eyeshadow or use white pencil on the inner corner :] (Urban Decay: 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils -white-)
  • Finally, line your eyes with black eyeliner (Urban Decay: 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils -black-)

Enjoy !

-Chinese Simple look-

Yesterday I had a Birthday diner for my father and I planned to wear a chinese dress for the night. Since I did not have enough time to get ready for the diner, I had to rush with my make up. I just picked colors that would suit best for my dress.

  • In addition, since I already had light brown for the crease area and shimmer white for my brow bone (because I had class during the day). I added extra pink between these two colors, as you can see below. I tried not to make it too exaggerated because it was just for diner. So I shaded the pink color out.
  • In the morning, I already lined my eyes using a cream eyeliner. However, I wanted to accentuate more my eyes since Chinese people’s eyes are so long and thin, therefore, to do that, I used my favorite liquid eyeliner and lined over the cream eyeliner.
  • I also added more eyeshadows on my browbone, inner corners for top and bottom, and my lid after spraying water on it

Tip #1* When you want to fix your make-up from day look to an evening look, I would suggest you to spray some water on your face then gently wipe your face, especially on your eyes. Use a Q-tip if necessary on the inner eyes. Let your face to dry for about 5min. This way you don’t need to remove all your make-up and re-start from scratch :] However, if you decide to remove all of your eye make-up, you can do that by just spraying more water on your eyes only and gently tap to remove but obviously not everything won’t come out but just try to remove as much as you can until you cannot see the colors.

Hair-do tip* Since I don’t like to tie as a ponytail because it just looks too simple. I tied my hair on one side since my hair was already curled. Finally, I clipped my bangs to the back so that my face looks long :]

Tip #2* You can accentuate your look more by thickening your eyeliner and extend it however long you want for a costume-event or something :] Check below:

Note! I lined my bottom lash using my liquid eyeliner :] Do it slowly so that you don’t make mistakes!

Enjoy this look !

I apologize for the lightings because you can’t really see the colors >.< Sorry if it doesn’t look that professional !!! T___T

-Another QUEEN GREEN-

Step by Step:

  1. Apply a light green eyeshadow all over the lid (Urban Decay: Homegrown)
  2. Next apply a medium brown color on the crease area then blend the color out (Urban Decay: YDK)
  3. Finally apply a bright color for the browbone or something that is glittery-like, I used from Urban Decay > Midnight Cowboy Rides Again
  4. Line your eyes using either your fav’ eyeliner or black eyeshadow.
  5. Curl your lashes and apply mascara, top & bottom
  6. For the bottom, apply a white color using either pencil or eyeshadow on the inner corner
  7. Line the bottom lashes using the darkest purple eyeshadow instead of black (Urban Decay: AC/DC)
  8. (Optional -this may be unclear on this picture-) I apply the same glitter eyeliner which can create a cat eye but unfortunately, it cannot be seen on this picture and it is the best picture i have >.< I used Urban Decay -Heavy Metal- Glitter Eyeliner > Midnight Cowboy.

This look was done for Christmas too. This look can be done as for casual too since the look is not as strong as others below. Enjoy and Have fun ! :]

-Become Cleopatra :]- (just like this model below)

Step by Step:

  1. Start off applying a gold color all over your eyelid (Urban Decay: Half Baked)
  2. Now apply a medium brown color on the outer V then blend the color out (Urban Decay: Twice Baked)
  3. Next apply a beige/goldish color for the browbone or apply a glittery-type eyeshadow. I used a glittery-type eyeshadow (Urban Decay: Midnight Cowboy Rides Again)
  4. Line your eyes, top & bottom, using any eyeliner you want or black eyeshadow which I did :] (Urban Decay: Perversion)
  5. Curl lashes and apply your fav’ mascara top and bottom
  6. For the bottom, apply a blue eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eye (Urban Decay: Jinx)
  7. (Optional) I added a layer of glitter eyeliner on the eyelid to create a cat eye look because it was for Christmas :] (Urban Decay -Heavy Metal- Glitter Eyeliner: Midnight Cowboy)

This look was done for Christmas. Again, you can use this look for special occasion. Unfortunately, I did not want to add a lot of glitter on her eyes because I was afraid that it would be hard for her to remove the make-up herself. I hope you guys enjoy this look. Enjoy and Have fun ! :]

-Be The QUEEN GREEN :]-

This is a simple and casual look I did this afternoon :] The look is not too heavy and too obvious if you know how to control your brushes while applying the eyeshadows on your eyes. Let’s note that everytime you retake more eyeshadow on your brush, before applying on your eyes, make sure you gently tap your brush a few times on a piece of tissue so that you remove excess eyeshadow on the brush :]

Step by Step:

  1. (Optional) After you’ve done your foundation and set with your powder, apply your fav’ eyeshadow primer (Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion)
  2. Apply a light green eyeshadow all over your eyelid (Urban Decay: Homwgrown)
  3. Now, apply a medium green color on your crease area and make sure you shade out so that we don’t see the hard edges (Urban Decay: Flipside)
  4. Next, apply the darkest green color you have by mixing a tiny amount of dark blue color in it along the outer V then blend the color out and taper out the end. (Urban Decay: Misdemeanor & Jinx)
  5. Lastly, don’t forget your browbone using a white eyeshadow color. (Shu Uemura P White 901)
  6. Now you can line your lash line using any eyeliner you like or black eyeshadow (Urban Decay: Perversion) which I did :]
  7. Curl your lashes and apply mascara top and bottom
  8. Line your bottom lashes with any of your fav’ eyeliner or black eyeshadow (Urban Decay: Perversion) which I did again :]
  9. Finally, I applied a white color on the inner corner at the bottom to give bigger eyes effect using Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Pencils White.

Tip* If you want to use this look for a special occasion, you can accentuate all the colors by adding more eyeshadow. When blending out the color, make sure you create a cat eye look at the same time. This will accentuate the look. In addition, you can add some glitter just above your eyeliner :] Lastly, for the browbone, instead of using white eyeshadow, I would suggest to use a goldish eyeshadow or something that is glittery which it will give more effect and give more attention to your eyes. You can use these colors from Urban Decay or something similar > Half Baked or Midnight Cowboy Rides Again.

I hope you enjoy this new look. Goodluck & Have fun ! :]

*January 1st, 2010

This is the look I’ve done for this New Year Eve. I deeply apologize for not put this look on my blog earlier >.< I’ve been very busy since I came back from Europe. But you can eventually use this look for any other occasions if you have no idea what to do :]

Step by Step:

Let’s remember that when starting a look, you should start from the lightest color to the darkest :] however, I somehow apply the eye shadow for my brow bone last lol You can just follow the diagram above but I would highly recommend to follow the step by step below too so that when applying each eye shadow, the look would look more professional and natural :] in addition, when you do not understand what i meant below, you can have a quick look at the diagram.

  1. (Optional) Apply a Eye Shadow Primer for long lasting eye make-up (Urban Decay: Eye Shadow Primer Potion)
  2. Apply a goldish color on your lid (Urban Decay: Half Baked)
  3. Apply a small amount of light purple on your crease area then use a eye shader to shade out the color so that we don’t see hard edges (Urban Decay: Ecstasy)
  4. Apply a darker purple color along the outer V then use the eye shader to blend out the color then taper out the end. (Urban Decay: Ac/Dc)
  5. Apply a white eye shadow on your brow bone ( Shu Uemura: P 901)
  6. (Optional) Apply Eyebrow manicure on your eyebrows (Shu Uemura: brown color)
  7. (This step you can either choose one or both) Apply pencil eye liner inside your lashes (Urban Decay: 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencils -Black-) then line your eyes (top and bottom -half way-) with a glittery eye shadow using a eye liner brush (Shu Uemura: black color P990)
  8. Curl your lashes then apply your fav’ mascara, top and bottom too (Shu Uemura)
  9. (Optional) Finally, at the bottom, you can also apply a white color with white eye shadow or pencil starting from where you stopped with your black eye liner. This will help you open your eyes more :] (Urban Decay: 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencils -White- )

*Tip: you can add extra gold glitter on the no.1 part if you want to ! I used from Urban Decay -Heavy Metal- : Midnight Cowboy :]

I hope you like this new look ! It’s not too heavy so i think it would be great for a long lasting New Year Eve Party !

Happy New Year 2010 too !

Comment: I’ve been enjoying this new set from urban Decay. As being the first time user for this brand, I really like it especially their eyeliner and eyeshadow primer potion. In addition, Eyeshadow Primer Potion is the best seller in Sephora, France and it was sold out one day when I went to check it out at one of Sephora I went in Paris. If you’re more interested more with the Eyeshadow Primer Potion, I would still suggest you to buy it with a set which would cost cheaper whereas the only bottle is sold at 16 euros here. Furthermore, I will also recommend you to buy te set at the actual Sephora shop in Paris rather than buying only because the price on the official website of Sephora is at 40euros.
