Here’s what I adviced to a friend for a better skin. Well it may not work for everyone but if you want to, please try them out because i’ve seen them in some articles in magazines :]

• Drink 8 glasses of water or 2 small bottles (600 mL) or one big bottle (1.5L)
• Do any kind of mask once a week
  
• Make sure you clean your make-up sponges and foundation brushes everyday. Other brushes such as for the eyes, you can clean the brushes every month. This will avoid your face to break out.
  
• After cleansing your face each time, use a separate small and soft towel to dry your face. Use it only for your face. Change it every week or 2.
  
• Change your pillow cover every single day. please. Prevent bacteria and avoid your face to break out too.
• And finally the most important one, smile and always be happy no matter what consequences you face each day. (Credit to my lovely sis :] )

I may not be the best adviser for this area since my face isn’t “perfect” if you can imagine. But I just want to give some of my opinions of the products I’ve been using for the past months. Whether it is effective or not, that’s not the point here but, instead, I just want to give my feedbacks for the products I used and, perhaps and coincidently you’re using it too :]

Before we start with descriptions of each product. Let’s start with “Did you know…?”

Did you know that we should switch our daily creams from time to time? Why do I say that?

When using a set of creams from a brand, the products you used for a certain time may not be effective anymore in the long run. That is that you won’t see the results of each product anymore because each product already done its job for your face. Therefore, I strongly recommend you to change your creams set to any other brand you want. I do not recommend which brand is good. It doesn’t matter how expensive they are if that’s what you think. As long as the product is doing its job then it’s good enough. It’s ok if you re-purchase that set for the second time or even third time because you may be happy with it. However, don’t over use that set for a long long long term. Obviously, you can go back to your fav’ set after using a set from another brand for a while :] Just switch back and forth.

So now! Let’s start off with…:

Clinique: Rinse-off foaming cleanser

I used this product during my trip to Europe during this winter (Dec 2009).

First off, let’s start with the negative of this product. If you look at the label which is in French (2 last sentences from the bottom), what it means, if you don’t know French, this foaming is like a foaming “make-up” remover. So, one late night when I couldn’t be bother to take too much time in the bathroom because I wanted to jump to bed asap, I actually used this foaming cleanser skipping my Shu Uemuera cleansing oil make-up remover to clean my face right away. However, after rinsing off the foaming cleanser, I found out this foaming “make-up” remover wasn’t that effective than I thought. I still had my heavy black eyeliner on the bottom of my eyes. I was so shocked and disappointed that I,eventually, had to use my Shu Uemura cleansing oil to remove the mess on my under eyes.

On the other hand, what’s so good from this product? After washing off your face, I felt very fresh like I had a facial mask. It was so smooth (maybe too smooth XD) and felt my face was light than I would ever thought it would. In addition to this, at least you know that your face is really clean like a clean floor XD Price: approximately 800baht

Clinique: Turnaround Concentrate – Visible Skin Renewer -

I’ve been using this product for about 2-3 months. This product will help you pull out fresh cells to the surface. In addition, it will make your face brighter, more radiant skin. I definitely think that this product is doing its work. Plus, what I love from this product is the texture of the cream. The cream is so thick and it made me feel so smooth and fresh after each application. Finally, this product was so effective and very useful while I was in Europe when it was very cold. I really thought my skin on my face would dry out very quickly because I know my skin is very sensitive, however, this product protected my skin from the breezing wind all day long :] Price: approximately 1600baht

Clinique: Anti-blemish solution -spot treatment gel-

This little bottle has been my friend for more than 6 months. Yes, I know… not that effective but could be a bit useful when you really want an acne to be gone. Well, let’s not exaggerate. But this little friend will dry out the acne that is red to be less obvious on your face. Eventually, I would strongly recommend for young teenagers to go to the dermatologist to get their acnes extracted instead of popping out them yourself. This will prevent from creating scars or big holes on your face if you do it yourself at home. In addition to this, when it becomes a habit for you to remove your acne on your face, you will do it anywhere and anytime of the day, plus with your dirty hands and that is bad! At least, the nurse would create less. I would also strongly recommend to you to apply this at night if you’re a girl and put on make-up everyday. Why? Because if you apply it for the day, (yes you should! but…) you would see a white mark around your pimple which is the gel that is dried. This will ruin your make-up and look very ugly.

Red:juvenus Set

I used this set for my Europe trip in the winter (Dec 2009).

This set is supposed to prevent from aging. Yes, I strongly recommend for young adults to start prevent their faces from aging fast ! The sooner the better :] Last summer, a friend came to visit me and she saw me using lots of creams then she told me how feminist I am. Yes, it can be annoying doing this as a routine. I get lazy sometimes but I try not to because I want to take care of my face although there’s not a lot of difference. But at least, I prevent wrinkles already :] I really loved this set because it helped me protect my skin from being dried by the end of the cold day in Europe. So I was happy with it. I’m still currently using it because I want to finish it since I’m using the travelling set (don’t want it to be a waste).  The price of this set is approximately 3000 baht.
