During your make-up process

When doing your make-up, I would suggest you to have two different mirrors.

You should have a mirror which can be placed on the desk and another larger mirror which is stuck on the wall.

Why? This is because when applying your make-up, it’s best if you see what you’re doing from different views. Best as a close view and a farther view.

Make sure you look at the large mirror often so that you can see whether it’s fine or not then fix it :]

Removing day make-up to evening make-up tips!

This way you don’t need to remove all your make-up and re-start from scratch :] When you want to fix your make-up from day look to an evening look, I would suggest you to spray some water on your face then gently wipe your face, especially on your eyes. Use a Q-tip if necessary on the inner eyes. Let your face to dry for about 5min. However, if you decide to remove all of your eye make-up, you can do that by just spraying more water on your eyes only and gently tap to remove but obviously not everything won’t come out but just try to remove as much as you can until you cannot see the colors anymore.

***Bring this new little friend along to refresh yourself :]*** a little container to spray fresh water on your face during the day will make your make-up look less oily. You can purchase this similar container at Muji (125baht) or Daiso (around 60baht)

A few days ago, I thought of a new way of removing day make-up to evening make-up :] This method is more for the eyes. My mother always suggested me to mix my oil make-up remover with water when removing eye make-up. And I strongly agree with her because when i remove my eye make-up with my oil make-up remover only, I have to wash off my face right away because it hurts when opening my eyes. Whereas when using my oil make-up remover mixed with water, I don’t have to worry much about the oil going into my eyes. However, a few days ago I created a sample of my new solution ! Maybelline also has this make-up remover. You can purchase it if you want to. On the other hand, if you have the oil remover at home. I would suggest you not to buy a new product and instead make your own :] Pictures below will tell you how !

(1) This is what you need below: (a cup of tap water, an empty container {from Muji, 125baht}, oil remover)

(2) For first time trial, I would suggest not to fill up the container too much. Test first if you’re happy with it or not :]

(3) Just to show you how much I filled in :]

(3) Now, fill in the container with some oil remover. I pumped 4-5 times. Don’t worry if the water turns white/milky ! :]

(4) Tadaaaa ! This is the end product :]

Note ! Make sure you shake it well before each application :]

I do not only use this product for removing my make-up ! I also use it while putting on make-up when it is necessary. Here is an example !

I’m currently using stick foundation. So I would first apply on my hand palm so that it’s not thick and heavy looking on my face. Then on the right shows after I sprayed my new solution onto my hand palm. Unfortunately, my pump was spraying such a large range >.< Then finally clean your hand with tissue :]

Healthy skin tip! (winter)

A tip for healthy skins during this cold season which I noticed while my stay in Europe:

  • If you like to shower twice a day, yes you can; however, your skin will dry quicker. Therefore, I suggest you to put on a lot of body lotion all over your body, especially hands, neck and your ankles. Apply as often as you can especially on your hands and your neck because they are mostly exposed to the wind. But I could also suggest to people to shower once a day, especially at night, if you don’t want to get dried skin. It’s all up to you :] I also have to add this when you go shower, make sure you don’t shower too long like 30min for example will be too long if it’s just for washing off thus this will lead to dry skin. On the other hand, if it’s for washing your hair then ok for 30min :]
  • Also make sure to wear gloves while you’re out there, this will prevent dry skin too
  • Cover up your neck with a thick scarf for preventing from being sick
  • Wear a hat or those fluffy stuff that protect your ears is enough too :] I got one of these at the Christmas market in Champs Elisees which is still holding till Christmas day :] The price is 6euros

*Winter is on its way !

As we noticed, the cool breeze came across in Bangkok a few times already. So get ready and prepare yourself to take care of your skin more than you usually do ! Because winter season is just BAD for your SKIN >.<

Obviously the weather is good and everything but make sure you cover yourself well because when it’s cold, you usually get sick easily. Plus, when the finals are during this period (why not some other time ?? T_T), people mostly sleep less and less and so they become weak then your body becomes weak too and it cannot fight against any bacteria wondering around just wanting to make people sick = =” lol

Here are some quick tips you can do that only takes a min or two :]

Label: * = a must do !

*Lip balm: Use it as often as you can. Any types or any brands are TOTALLY fine as long as your lips are protected ^^ As you can see from My Beauty Products* page, I use Nivea Lip Care Essential

*Hand and Body Lotion Cream:

-Body application: apply the lotion day and night especially on your legs because since we live in Bangkok,we usually wear uniform or short shorts/ skirts so our legs are mostly exposed compared to other parts of our body. Also don’t forget to apply on your heels because when exposed to the cool wind, this can also damage your heels to dryness if you wear open shoes !

-Hands: apply lotion as often as you can like whenever you think about it or after washing your hands because we always use our hands. You can buy a big bottle to use @ home, I use from Vaseline Healthy White Skin Lightening Lotion Then you can buy a small bottle like from 7eleven which is cheap and enough to use outside home :]

As for your face, you might want to apply some creams than can prevent from dryness. If you think your skin never was affected by that then fine but if you think your skin gets dry at the end of the day , that means —-> CREAM SAVER PLEASE ! XD

Now let’s look at some fashion tips:

-People in Bangkok usually wear simple jackets that can match with your uniform or casual clothes. I prefer long jackets that go to your knees: Oversized jackets; they are comfy and warm :D

-Leggings are ok too but I think they aren’t as warm as if you wear skinny jeans like I am right now. Leggings are made of cotton so they are holes in it and obviously you might feel abit cooler or you can buy abit thicker materials but that would be too hot for Bangkok = =” keep those ones if you go abroad like China or Europe since it’s getting colder there ! But I would suggest skinny jeans here :]

-Thin scarfs can also be useful too. It can be used as to cover your neck (cover your neck is super essentials if you don’t wanna get a sore throats !)  or used as for an accessory. But I would recommend more silk materials ones are good because they keep you warmer than just those summer-like scarfs. Silk ones can be used ALL the times not only for winter season.

I will put up some pictures later today the stuff I used all the times and stuffs I just mentioned above so that you can have a brief idea of what I meant. I shall also take a picture of what i’m wearing today.

I hope you enjoyed this entry because I care ! :D

Take care!

*You are the Sleeping Beauty yourself :]

When I was in high school, my beauty sleep was the most important thing to do from my daily checklist. I never missed this one because it just felt natural. I’m sure I’ve missed a few times of my beauty sleep for some long-hours phone calls. But I would always tell myself to sleep at 9.30pm and the latest would be 11pm, and if I missed both times, I would slap myself (just kidding but yea I wouldn’t be happy about myself). Now i’m in college and it’s different. No excuses ! LOL I just don’t really care now for some reasons. As a proof, I’m writing this new entry at 10.35pm (bkk time) lol

Did you ever wanted to be like any Disney Princesses or specially Princess Aurora?

I’m asking you this because they seem to be the best role models for young girls. For example, how beautiful they are; how perfect they are, especially their faces, so flawless ! haha.

From my own opinion and experience, I believe that beauty sleep exists and every individual need it, especially girls. From around 10pm to 2am, this is the time which your body starts to work. Your skin repairs while you sleep. This will also help you treat acne and other skin diseases. During our teenage period, we need more sleep than anyone else because our body are still developing and growing.

You need at least eight hours a night !

Let me raise this question:

did you ever wonder whether top models or just typical models go to bed early or not?

Well maybe not like 9pm but early. They should be aware or unless their managers tell them to do so but during these certain times, it is important for their bodies.

Trouble sleeping?

  • Read a book
  • Watch series or movie
  • Knitting
  • Youtube

Sleeping for at least eight hours will make you feel fresh and more awake all day long :] But don’t oversleep ! Because this will just make you feel more sleepy, lazy and perhaps moody.

Cheers,

Rosie

For the past years, I’ve been going through many obstacles when taking care of your health and especially the face. As myself, I get a lot of pimples since a teenager and it never stops coming out out and out! For many years, I always thought the skin care products or even cosmetics products were the causes of giving more acne. It is possible. However, recently I realized that washing your face was the most vital step if you don’t want new pimples coming out of your face.

Let me emphasize on this vital step of cleaning your face. As I know, we, girls, love putting on makeup. Some may put it on for special occasions or most of girls would put on makeup as a daily basis. Honestly, there is nothing wrong when putting on makeup. Unless, you get allergy for certain products which this is natural so obviously, you have to buy the most suitable products for your type of skin.

If you happen to be one of those girls who wear makeup everyday and for more than 6hours a day, you should know cleansing your face with cleansing oil makeup remover is very important. This makeup remover will help you remove all the makeup as well as the dirt (e.g. dust) which was stuck on your face during the day. What’s important in this step is how long you clean your face with the product.

Why? Let me ask you this: Have you ever gone to a facial spa when the masseur gives you a facial massage for minutes and minutes for each type of cream or oil they put on your face? It’s not just about massaging your face for fun, but they do it so that the product get to penetrate inside your pores and does its job. So if the masseur does it then you should do it at home too. :)

Not only the cleansing oil is important in this process but the facial foam should be done the same too so that you will feel fresh afterwards.

This is just a tip that I want to inform you about because I believe they are very important besides the creams and lotions which you use afterwards. This is just one tip to prevent acne. But I know there are many other ways to prevent them too.

So I hope you like this tip because I love it :p This is because I love the feeling after removing all that dirty makeup at the end of the day :)

Take care !
