What is instant attitude?
Here’s a paragraph I got from a book I purchased a few years ago:
“STRUT A LITTLE
Walk like a model by wearing a slightly raised heel. You’ll be more aware of the way you walk and that’s instant attitude. Putting some strut in your walk makes your clothes instantly look better, Lean back ever so slightly, especially if you’re wearing pants. It gives you a runway swagger. One foot goes in front of the other. I train models to walk singing a tune in their heads. This is how they find their groove and create their rhythm.
You can do the same, but don’t overdo the catwalk style. A little goes a long way. “

I’m not saying I want to be a model or anything but I think by doing that, it’s just good for your back. Well, the truth is that if you see someone walking with her back straight looks much better than someone walking when her back is leaning forward right? ^^ I can admit that when I walk I always have in mind that I have to walk straight and lean back slightly. I stopped listening to my iPod for quite sometimes already which it used to help me walk better but now I tend to have some tunes stuck in my head and it’s enough ^^
I totally agree with heels. When wearing heels, this will teach you how to balance the weights in both feet. Heels will make you more aware on how to walk better. Whereas walking with flats, YES it’s more comfy and better than heels, however, flats also have their own flaws. When wearing too much flats, you tend to get cramps during the day and that is annoying. BUT wearing heels too much is bad too! This will give you more and more stomachache and cramps when your period comes. So it’s a straight NO-NO if you do. Try to vary with both :]
Talking about balancing your weight to both feets, I used to play Wii Fit. They teach you how to balance your weights evenly on both feet. They also tell you what makes you standing more on one side will change your body posture. And that is bad… When carrying your bag only on one side for a long period of time also can affect your body posture so try to balance by switching your bag from one side to the other.
In case you do not kow Wii Fit. Wii Fit is a game created by Nintendo Wii and this specific game is some kind of fitness game. You can have your own trainer to teach you many things like yoga postures or aerobics dances and some mini games including hula hoops for example :] Wii Balance Board is the main accessory needed for this game. It is kinda like a body scale.
So I hope this entry is helpful for ya to fix your body posture. I’m sure there are many other ways on how to re-adjust our body posture. Yoga is also another way to fix it :]
